Early Careers Pulse Check: Attracting LGBTQ+ talent.

We’re back with another Early Careers Pulse Check, a webinar which delves into the most pressing student marketing topics for early careers employers. Register for free here.

At 10am on Tuesday 9th March, we’ll focus on attracting diverse talent from LGBTQ+ communities. We’ll discuss several interesting points: What do LGBTQ+ students think of employers’ efforts to reach out to them? Which career industries do LGBTQ+ students think are the least inclusive? What more can employers do to foster a truly equal and inclusive working environment?

As well as reporting the findings from our latest pulse interviews of LGBTQ+ students from across the country, we will be hosting both a student/trainee and an employer panel. Our student panel will be chaired by the Festival Director of National Student Pride, Ollie James Parr. We’ll discuss the findings of our latest research, as well as student and trainee personal experiences of diversity in their career planning and their first experiences of the world of work.

Our second panel of employers will be sharing their approaches to hiring and engaging LGBTQ+ talent. Hear from industry experts including:

  • Steve Keith – Founder and Chief Heart Officer at The Branding Man
  • Sarah Fennell – Head of Diversity & Inclusion (EMEA) at Macquarie Group
  • Khadija Lewis – Recruitment Officer at Frontline
  • Helen Kelly – Student Attraction Advisor at EY

Register for the free webinar on the 9th March here.
