Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a lovely Thursday. We’ve got some really exciting work opportunities that have come up on our radar this week. As usual, get involved and put yourselves out there if any of these interest you!

LEGO – DIGITAL MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Missing your inner child and wanting to work for one of the most popular toy brands in the world? Lego are looking for a Digital Marketing intern for 2021. This is perfect for media or marketing students, as it involves understanding the importance of digital presence, whilst having a business savvy head about it. You’ll work with the media team to produce high impact creative assets. Additionally, you’ll partner with the marketing team, to make sure that everything is running efficiently (deadlines budgeting etc). PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY INTERN (VIRTUAL) – DREAMWORKS

Dreamworks are looking for a product technology intern, to work remotely for 10 weeks. You have to be fluent in software such as Javascript, python etc. A fantastic opportunity for computer science students or anyone aspiring for a career in tech, you’ll mainly be designing and developing software tools to assist artists in production. You have to be in the process of an undergraduate degree or a recent graduate, and the ability to work in the US. If this interests you, click this link!

FUTURE ACADEMY – THE FACE X MONCLER

Future Academy is a programme that provides paid opportunities to young people from underrepresented backgrounds. It will run from February – May 2021. If you didn’t have the opportunity to go to university, or studied a degree that isn’t related to the creative industry and a BAME student, they want to hear from you. They’re offering two paid placements at The Face, London and Moncler, Milan, alongside 50 places for creatives to attend online workshops. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, the deadline is the 30th November at 11:59pm. #EMPOWERHER CONFERENCE – GIRLS IN MARKETING

Are you a young woman who aspires to a career in marketing? Have no idea where to get started? Well fear not! Girls in Marketing have got you sorted, and are running a webinar with 8 fantastic speakers, to talk all about the creative industry. It’s on the 10th December at 5:30, costs a tenner, and is a valuable opportunity for anyone looking at a career as a marketeer. Get involved here, you might just find your next mentor!

SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE – TED BAKER

Have you ever wanted to work in the fashion and beauty industry? Ted Baker are currently looking for a social media executive, based in London (Salary 24k-27k). You’ll be in charge of the day to day handlings of the company’s social media, and will create and design concepts of creative assets that will be shared on all social media platforms. You’ll also get the opportunity to build relationships across the business sectors, such as buying, merchandising and so on. PROGRAMME ASSISTANT – NO SIGNAL ACADEMY

No signal is a black run radio station, currently looking for a programme assistant to help their programme manager to deliver the No Signal programme. You’ll be doing work for 2 days a week for 24 weeks (and paid £720 per month), and the role is open to anyone who is black and aged 18-25. PEP TALK ON BUILDING YOUR BRAND WITH NIRAN VINOD

Last but not least, creative director of Merky Books, Niran Vinod, is running a panel on how to build your creative brand.
