MANAGEMENT GRADUATE PROGRAMME – UNIQLO

UNIQLO are looking for graduates to take part in their management programme. They’ll equip you with all the business skills, connections, and practical skills you need to succeed . This is a diverse graduate programme for anyone interest in the business/fashion/marketing sector. You’ll work on rotation for 12 months, starting as a customer advisor and understand the store. Next, you’ll work as a supervisor, managing the performance of a small team. Building from this placement, you’ll then become assistant manager. You’ll be in charge of maximising sales and profit, buying inventory, strategising store layout and managing your team. CREATIVE PROGRAMME – D&AD X GOOGLE

D&AD Shift with Google in London is an industry led night school programme for aspiring creatives. If you’re 18+ and didn’t go to uni, shift is for you. This programme really tests you – you’ll have access to pros who will guide you through real briefs, helping you to decode the industry. Their aim is to challenge and open up the minds of up and coming creatives, to realise their potential, and help them understand the passion and time needed for their craft. Click here to apply. RESEARCH, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT GRADUATE PROGRAMMES – DYSON

Dyson are on the hunt for new graduates to join their teams, and you should definitely register your interest here. They want you at the centre of the engine room. You’ll help build, test, fail and refine their products so you can bring out the best quality tech possible. So what do they want from you? You’ll be on track for a 2:1 in your degree, currently studying a mechanical/engineering/computer science/data analytics degree. Or, you’ll be a recent graduate, able to start in September 2021. They want someone passionate about Dyson and their technology. Finally, the ideal candidate would build your own networks to learn from established technical expertise around you.

CURATORIAL TRAINEESHIP – BARBICAN

Barbican (London) have an extremely exciting opportunity for people interested in curating. They’ve partnered with Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts). This will allow you access to two arts organisations, to acquire practical skills that’ll help you towards your future career. BAME candidates are encouraged to apply for this placement, as they’re committed to increasing diversity of staff within both organisations. You’ll spend four days a week at the Barbican and one day at iniva. At the Barbican, you’ll gain an understanding of the process of developing and presenting exhibitions. You’ll also help with administration and archiving. At Iniva, you’ll gain an understanding of how to deliver events. You’ll also get the chance to encounter curators, artists and researchers working in areas related to Iniva’s artistic programme. To be considered, you’ll need an undergraduate degree related to Art, and have excellent communication skills. Finally, you’ve got to have an excellent eye for detail.
