Creative Director Paul Stollery takes partnership role

After two months we’ve made it exclusive. We’re delighted to announce that our creative director Paul Stollery is now a partner in the business.

Simon Lucey, managing director, said:

“Paul’s been with us from day one – first as a freelance consultant and then full-time over the past six months. Since he’s gone full-time, our pitch win rate has been over 80%, which is frankly unheard of. It was a no-brainer to bring him on as a partner. We’ve worked together to grow this agency and this agreement means we’ll continue to do so for the long term.

“I launched this agency because I felt like the student marketing industry was choc full of lazy creative, recycling old ideas that don’t actually resonate with students in 2019. I wanted to change that. Paul’s worked with some of the biggest brands in the world on a whole heap of award winning campaigns, and he’ll absolutely help us do that.”

Paul’s role as creative director involves overseeing new business pitches, and working on existing clients to ensure that every bit of work Hype puts out is the best it can possibly be. Since coming on full-time, he’s also overseen the marketing function within the business. Now a partner, he’ll take 50% share in Hype Collective effective from July 2019.

Paul Stollery said:

“Working with Simon from day one has been absolutely brilliant. We work very well together and, along with the fantastic talent we’ve got in the team, we’ve got everything we need to go from strength to strength.

“In the first two years we’ve worked with some massive brands, and there are a few more announcements coming up this summer which I’m really excited about. It’s been an insane six months and we’re only just getting started.”
