VICE X PHOTOBOOK CAFE: SHOWCASE YOUR WORK

Photobook cafe are teaming up with Vice to showcase photography from graduates across the UK, with prizes for the best submissions given by Rapid Eye, a film shop based in Shoreditch, London. You can submit your work here.

WE VOLTAGE GETTING INTO 3D & MOTION DESIGN: WEBINAR

WE VOLTAGE are dedicated to running events for young black creatives, aged 18-24. They’re running events across July and August, and one of them is how to get into 3D and Motion Design, with Wayne Creativ. Wayne Creativ is a London based motion graphic designer, whose clients include Depop, MTV and Gorillaz, so you’re in good hands. The purpose of this session is to understand the Design industry, as well as receiving lessons, challenges and tips for getting into the industry. You can register for the free event here.

BYTE: JUNIOR COPYWRITER

Marketing Agency Byte are currently looking for a creative planner with a copywriter focus. The role of creative planner is exciting and constantly evolving, depending on what you think will grab an audience’s attention best. You’ll come up with brilliant ideas that really make the agency stand out from the crowd. You’ll also get to research consumer behaviour and trends. Essential skills or characteristics include a passion for music, a love for learning things on the job and experience or a deep understanding of social media. If you’ve got experience working at an agency or have been involved in a marketing campaign, these qualities are also desired, but not essential. If you fancy applying, click here!

THE TELEGRAPH: DESIGN GRADUATE PROGRAMME

The Telegraph is now recruiting BA and MA Design graduates who want to be part of their team, starting in January 2022. You’ll be on the programme for 2 years, working closely with teams responsible for the newspapers’ print and digital platforms. You’ll get to pick three out of 6 of our sectors to work in over the 2 years: Newsprint Design, Graphic Journalism, Magazines, Emerging Formats, Marketing and Brand Design and Product Design. Essential skills needed for the role is a degree background in Design, or a related subject. Additionally, you’ve got to be interested in current affairs and have a passion for telling stories, with an appetite for experimenting. It is important to note that this opportunity is not available for people who have already started their careers. Deadline for applications is 31st of July, so apply here!
