NEWGEN FUND – THE BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL (BFC)

The British Fashion Council x TikTok have partnered to create 2021’s NEWGEN fund. This fund supports emerging talent in the fashion industry. If successful, you’ll receive a grant, a slot on the next fashion week’s schedule (whether it’s digital or physical) and mentoring support. Finally, you’ll also receive full, free access to all BFC membership events. These include webinars, seminars and workshops, covering areas of commercial awareness . So, if you’ve got an established fashion business that has been open for less than three years, you can apply via this link.

RAW TALENT MENTORING SCHEME – VEVO

Over 6 months, Vevo UK will offer six participants the opportunity to be mentored by VEVO executives across the UK organisation. Mentees will get to have a unique insight on how music video content is constantly evolving. Vevo wants applicants from people who can demonstrate their commitment to a creative career, with a particular interest in music video production. Finally, vevo want to help people who’ve experienced barriers in the creative industry, due to race, disability, socio-economic class. If you’re interested, you can find more information here.

INFLUENCER EXECUTIVE – NEW LOOK

New Look are on the hunt for an executive to help manage all influencer relationships and the content activations across womenswear, menswear and 915. You’ll be responsible for executing strategies such as sponsorship, content creation and affiliate activity within a timely manner. You’ll also make sure that the influencers working with New Look are getting as much support necessary for them to do their work to the highest standard. Amongst many other tasks, you’ll also support events that are related to influencers, such as monthly meet ups, workshops and trips. If you’ve got great people skills, and a strong interest/knowledge of the fashion and beauty industry, this role is perfect for you. DIGITAL VISUAL MERCHANDISER ASSISTANT – URBAN OUTFITTERS EUROPE

This role will work on online visual merchandising across the site, including areas such as categories and trend pages. You’ll mainly be monitoring the website, ensuring that everything is displayed as intended. This position will also require you to work collaboratively with several different areas of the company, including buying, digital marketing, analytics, and loads more.
