Lovehoney wanted a campus presence during freshers' week, to drive brand awareness and make students laugh. And so we turned to the sexiest, sweetest, most seductive technique in all communication: puns.
The brief.
Introduce students to Lovehoney, and get them thinking about how accessories and toys might fit into their sex lives. Establish Lovehoney as a cheeky, funny and above all trustworthy brand. Make as many hilarious puns about sex as we could get away with.
What we did.
Where's Waldo, but a little bit filthy. We presented students with a cartoon mural of the birds and the bees and gave them a minute to find ten salacious puns: a cock in a ring, a happy rabbit, and so on. It wasn't too stiff a challenge, and it came with entry into a prize draw and a free bottle of lube.
