A rave on a coach with a world famous DJ and a huge exclusive club night. Yeah that’s megabus LIVE.
The brief.
megabus want to be the go to coach travel provider for students. The problem, they’ve always been by far the cheapest, but there are new competitors…We decided to dominate a specific use case of megabus, that we knew would make a great experience and content - intercity travel for gigs.
What we did.
megabus LIVE - an exclusive student event held at XOYO in Birmingham headlined by Nathan Dawe.
We ran a national competition across 10 UK university towns where students could win tickets to attend and free transport courtesy of megabus. The competition was promoted via influencers on TikTok & Instagram and plastered across student unions.
megabus LIVE was promoted in Birmingham through partnerships with student sport societies.
On the day, to everyone’s surprise, Nathan Dawe performed a pop-up set on a megabus!
